SERN membership is open to all legal entities which play a role in the regional innovation ecosystem by having a mandate in regional development and by being involved in the development and/or implementation of entrepreneurship policies in the country/region.
This includes but is not limited to Brussels-based representative offices of regional administrations, local administrations, development agencies, universities, educational institutions, and research centres.

SERN membership is for one year starting from the date of your membership activation. You can renew your membership as early as 90 days before your expiration date. You can find your membership status in your user profile on startupregions.eu.
If you do not renew your membership by your expiration date your membership expires and you will no longer have access to your membership benefits, such as the member-only webinars or additional business/project opportunities. The membership automatic renewal feature ensures continuous access to your membership benefits without interruption.
You can renew your SERN membership as early as 90 days ahead of your expiration date. Membership renewal is based on the most recent join date.
SERN Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable. You can choose to not renew your SERN membership may be cancelled at its further expiry date.
