SERN announces new collaborative activities
Rebound with new initiatives
A new working group on Women’s Entrepreneurship and a brokerage event on networking opportunities for HorizonEU collaboration are some of the initiatives announced yesterday at SERN Annual General Assembly. The aim is to propose activities that meet the interests of members of organizations and enhance collaboration and partnering opportunities while generating new linkages between members and beyond.
The Women Entrepreneurship group will aim at leveraging women’s contribution to business and entrepreneurial initiatives in order to raise awareness of the gender gap that still requires action in society and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Aligned with the EU objective of promoting female entrepreneurship, the new working group will be open to all members, led by the member Envolve Entrepreneurship and facilitated by SERN. It will organize trainings, workshops, and promote conversations and debates to progress on the topic.
The brokerage event for networking opportunities on HorizonEU will allow members to connect and find partners for their project ideas. The event will be held online however the use of matchmaking tools will enable one-to-one meetings for targeted conversations on specific clusters and calls.
SERN encourages its members to engage and participate actively in the proposed activities. The webinar sessions hosted from April till early June are a good example of active collaboration. There were 4 case studies presented by members. Spain, Portugal, Macedonia, and Greece showcased their experiences and the need to adapt and innnovate during Covid-19.
