Innova-FI: Fourth exchange of experience
Between 18th and 19th September, we attended the fourth Exchange of Experience of Financial Instruments for Innovation in Valencia. The event was a mix of presentations and workshops on the topic of Financing Competitive Business Growth.
The first day at Valencia Stock Exchange kicked off with an introduction with speakers from Ivace and Directorate General for European Funds. The Valencian Foundation for Financial and Stock exchange then presented an introduction to the Financial Environment in the Region of Valencia and some of the company’s goals that include promotion of financial education in all sectors of society.
The General Director of Valencia Institute of Finance and representatives of IVACE and AFIN talked about Regional Financial Public Instruments. This session was followed by a workshop on the Innova-FI tool.
On the second day we visited the innovation hub Innsomnia. Valencia Activa presented the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the city of Valencia and we met BigBAN, Banco Sabadell, Clave Mayor, BBusiness BBooster Funds and Colectual during a session with the private sector.
The following session was a round table on the use of guarantees as an innovation support mechanism. The final activity of the second day was a joint session with Valencia Regional Observatory for Financing Competitive Business Growth.
