Sebastião Medeiros will present the active role of the incubator StartUp Angra during the current pandemic which has been very supportive to local business in the municipality of Angra do Heroismo (Azores island), focusing on how companies had to adapt to the Covid19 situation and reinvent new working systems.

StartUp Angra is a startup incubator, an initiative of the Municipality of Angra do Heroismo, in Azores (Portugal) which supports local entrepreneurs in the process of developing companies, from the business idea to its implementation.

Sebastião Medeiros, executive director of StartUp Angra, is graduated in Tourism and Cultural Management by the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal). He was Manager of Tourism Products for the Azores Tourism Association and since 2020 is Executive Director of StartUp Angra. With many years of experience related to associations, he helped to create several brands, linked to the business sector and the local community. At StartUp Angra he fulfills one of his dreams, helping your city to grow.
