SERN hosts 1st workshop of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Group
The workshop, held on 25 February, analysed EU funding opportunities from a gender perspective. Cristina Gallardo, FUNDECYT – Scientific and Technological Park of Extremadura, and Maria Anagnostopoulos, Envolve Entrepreneurship, presented selected EU calls related to female entrepreneurship.
The Women’s Entrepreneurship Working Group aims to address the gender gap in entrepreneurship and accelerate female empowerment. It provides a platform for members to exchange on European initiatives and strategies focused on women entrepreneurship topics. The objective is to foster opportunities for interregional cooperation between members and share good practices on women’s empowerment.
The Women Entrepreneurship group has been founded by SERN with the co-leadership of Envolve Entrepreneurship and the collaboration of Fundecyt-PCTEX.
Thank you to all participants who contributed to a lively and insightful session!
