SERN at The Festival of the New European Bauhaus with “Start-Greening-Up!”
SERN marks its presence at The Festival of the New European Bauhaus, taking place from 9 to 12 June in Brussels.
Our “Start-Greening-Up!” online workshop, hosted in partnership with the Portuguese startup Madatuga, will focus on the benefits of composting and the importance of valorizing organic waste in urban environments. The workshop, presented by MudaTuga‘s co-founder Carolina Sapienza-Bianchi, will take place on 10 June from 11:00 CEST to 12:00 CEST.
With this action, SERN aims to support sustainable practices as an example of how startups have the potential to shape the sustainable transition and how innovative entrepreneurship can lead to concrete responses to the most pressing challenges, such as climate change.
This 1st edition of the Festival brings together exhibitions, artistic performances, conferences, seminars, and other gatherings, combining an onsite event with the virtual online component, inviting citizens from all walks of life to debate and shape our future landscape. It will explore the New European Bauhaus values of beauty, sustainability, and togetherness, and their power to address societal challenges.
