In a very connected international scenario, cooperation in research and innovation is key to foster specialized entrepreneurship. Cristina Gallardo will present the Fundecyt Science and Technology Park in the region of Extremadura (Spain), and explain why the role of facilitating entities is crucial for companies, research bodies and entrepreneurs to take advantage of their internationalization and growth processes.
The Organisation & The Speaker
Established in 1995, FUNDECYT Science and Technology Park of Extremadura (FUNDECYT-PCTEX) is a non-profit organisation based in Extremadura (Spain) with the aim of contributing to the social and economic exploitation of science and technology in the region, fostering innovative entrepreneurship, supporting and promoting scientific and technological development and better use of research and innovation outcomes.
Cristina Gallardo is a Project Manager for European and International R&D promotion in Fundecyt Science and Technology Park of Extremadura. Since January 2017, Cristina has been working on the promotion of R&D profiles from Extremadura in European networks and fostering the participation of research centers and companies in funding programs, with a focus on Horizon Europe. Cristina has a Degree in Political Science and Public Administration and certified PMI Project Manager. She is part of the team in charge of the European Project Office of the University of Extremadura.
