Project ARTeCHÓ – Fellowship Call
The official ARTeCHÓ fellowship call is now online!
The official fellowship call is now online: 15 artists and designers will be selected to join a 7 months program during which they will participate in online meetings, training, mentorship, inspirational sessions, and 2-week physical residency. Their works will be presented to the public at the end of the trajectory.
The main goal of ARTeCHÓ is to create a peer-to-peer learning community for artists to learn more about the technical side of the art-making process and its intersection with new technologies, Crypto Art, #blockchain, and #NFT marketplaces. The underlying approach of the project is to explore these decentralised technologies while being critical towards their economic and ecological implications. There are 15 openings for artists who are willing for 6 months (April-October 2023) to have access to mentoring sessions with experienced artists/curators in the field, inspirational sessions, a meeting in Milan (a 3-day program with talks, workshops, and experiences) and two weeks sprint-residency in Zaragoza.
ARTeCHÓ will provide resources to help artists and organizations to explore innovative approaches to the arts economy, encourage copyright protection of fine arts concerning the application of new technologies, and shape new models of business, broader communication strategies, political engagement and citizen awareness.
